In my early twenties I discovered health and fitness and gained a completely different outlook on life.  I have always had a passion for helping others and realized that I had a deep desire to help others to discover health, fitness and more joy in their lives as well.   I began this journey through becoming a registered massage therapist and certified personal trainer.  I found this career combination very rewarding, but it seemed to be missing something.

I observed a yoga class for the first time at a facility where I worked 12 years ago and realized it was more than just stretching and meditation.  This class was one of Suze Curtis’ DPYP! classes.  I was intrigued, but quite skeptical that it was truly a work out.  I spoke with Suze after one of the classes and she encouraged me to come in and try a class.

Needless to say, I did try a class and my life has been forever changed.  This power yoga class was beyond one of the best workouts I had ever experienced and even more than that, it touched me emotionally and spiritually.

After practicing for a few years, I realized that THIS was the missing link in what I wanted to offer to others.  I love that yoga combines strength training and increased flexibility along with stress relief and emotional release.

I obtained my yoga teaching certification and have been teaching now for 10 years.  During this time, I have studied different styles of yoga, including a teacher internship in Iyengar Yoga and have taught at various locations in the North Dallas area.

My yoga journey started with Dynamic Power Yoga PLUS! and I continue to practice and teach here because it is truly unique.  Sound and vibration in combination with detoxifying heat set this power yoga practice apart from any other.

I have discovered a passion for helping others transform their body and mind through the gift of yoga.   I hope to be blessed with the opportunity to share this gift for many years to come.

Namaste
