I started teaching “old school” aerobics when I was 15.

It progressed to Hi/Lo, Step, Slide (remember the footie’s) and I settled with Boot Camp classes for the last 10 years. Physically – it was starting to take a toll on my body – but I always felt that Yoga was too passive for me. It was more for the “older” crowd.

It wasn’t until I saw Madonna doing several yoga postures on the “Rosie Show” that I decided to see what all the hype was about.

I took my first class and that was one of the BEST days of my life. It definitely changed my life. I found the practice to be hard and calming at the same time. I was able to reach places not just on a physical level but a spiritual level. And I found freedom and relief from my day to day life on my mat. I am a better mother to my 2 boys, Xavier and Giuseppe, and a better wife to Joseph of 16 years. The practice is challenging – as is life – but we don’t have to struggle to keep up. I believe that if we can shift to a positive change in our bodies then we can shift that change in the world….as Bryan Kest says, “Simple, but not easy”.

I have trained with some of the best teachers in the world, and I hopefully carry a little of them with me in my everyday. I have my 200 RYT. And I currently do voice-over work for Radio and TV. See you on the mat.

I am also available for (one-on-one) Private or In-Class Personal Yoga Guidance
