| Ardem Keshishian – Owner of Salon D (Alpha/Inwood) – one of our DPYP! sweat-mates & Patrick’s good friend – and the Salon D stylists & manicurists – have organized a Cut-a-Thon ~~ ALL PROCEEDS gifted directly to Patrick ~ the Salon D stylists & manicurists are donating their time & expert talents to help.
Sunday, August 29th Patrick’s mom will also be @ Salon D that day - If you don’t have time for a cut or manicure and want to donate, you can either drop-by & leave your ‘gift-donation’ with Patrick’s mom. OR ~ Call Salon D ANY TIME – (972) 788-0975 – and give them your credit card info & the amount you wish to GIFT Patrick.
Each haircut is $50 ~ Each manicure is $20 ~ You can pay over-the-phone when scheduling your appointment – You can pay at the time of your appointment – Just say it’s for Patrick~! Salon D is known for its amazing salon & spa services – of which Patrick is one of their BEST stylists – and for their great contributions to those in need. Most recently, the Salon D stylists helped a childrens’ charity – donating a day of their time & talents – gifting $1,000′s to the childrens’ charity & approximately 200 hair-cuts to all who participated~! |

Amber ) This week is a special ~ “Party with a Purpose” week ~~ donating 20% of all of my retail sales directly to Patrick.
Most of you already know he’s going through chemo/radiation at Parkland, with no insurance and no way to work – as his body has been too tired from the treatments. I want to do what I can to help.
Because this is for Patrick, I want to be sure that all seats are filled!!!
If you are unable to attend any of the dates/events (below), you can make purchases on our website. All website sales - this week – are also being donated to Patrick!
Friday, August 20th – I’m having two seatings at my house (just minutes from the studio):
– 6pm – Lash Bash & Mother/Daughter Makeovers – Focus on Mineral color application with fake lashes for girls’ night out! (currently I have 5 seats reserved, 1-3 more open)
- 8pm – Tuck you into Bed – Get Glowing with the Ultimate Miracle Set plus choice of Microdermabrasion or Even Complexion Mask (currently I have 1 seat reserved, 5-7 more open)
Saturday, August 21st – I’ll be having three seatings at my house
– 2pm – Lips, Hips, & Tips – Just the basics – Satin Lips & Hands, Customized Lip Color, Toning Lotion & Body Care, Spa Gifts & Makeup Tips (8 seats open)
– 4pm – Lash Bash (Completely Booked)
– 6pm – Food, Fun, & Facials (3 seats reserved, 5 seats open)
My goal is to fill all 5 seatings with 6-8 women, & most of all – to have a great time!!!
Those of you who know me, know that I do not do anything unless it is FUN so I promise you all will feel pampered & special! There is no pressure to purchase at my parties, but obviously, my desire is to raise money for Patrick so whatever you love & can’t live without – you will have the opportunity to take home with you that day.
If you can make it, please feel free to bring along a friend or two, and if you commit…please do not cancel!!! Because this is for Patrick, I want to be sure that all seats are filled!!!

Terri Ford, B.Sc. CPEB brings 13 yrs experience with Energy Balancing and her Personal and Business Coaching to DPYP!
Between now & July 30, you’ll see them in/out of our studio — creating a special, healing space in our KNOWING ROOM.
On July 31, with a reservation, you can experience a beautiful relaxing/re-tuning/healing session.

Update on Patrick: In our last blog, we mistakenly noted Patrick’s first chemo session. On 7/7/10, he was prepped with the feeding & chemo tubes. Since then, he has been feeling great – ‘teaching both last Tuesday AM (7/13/10) and yesterday AM (7/19/10). His chemo treatments now begin Monday, July 26 – every day, five days a week. For those of you who may have missed his previous message – his contact info is below:

Those of you long-time DPYP! members know that Patrick has been with us for many years – sharing his wisdom & humor as he guides us through our practice.
Since last October 2009, Patrick had a sore throat that just wouldn’t resolve ..and.. last month, was diagnosed with throat cancer. He has been eating/drinking healthfully & supplementing to strengthen his immune system – and, fully believes in healing energy and the power of prayer.
Patrick humbly asks (from those of you who feel so guided) for your healing intentions and prayers – that his therapy is as comfortable as possible and that he again enjoys full and perfect health. He also sends gratitude to those of you who have already been supporting him with your friendship & kind sentiments – just be-ing there for him. If you wish, you can Email him.

57 students shared breath, sweat, energy & ‘New Beginning’ intentions ~~ ‘showing up early on Sunday morning (even with a play-off game the night before) ~~ AND ~~ We collected $110 (Love Offerings) for Scottish Rite Hospital ~~ No kidding! ~~ The cash donations came to EXACTLY $110!
